I cordially extend an invitation for you to join us at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral on Sunday, September 24th, at 3 pm, for an extraordinary one-hour performance featuring the globally acclaimed opera company, Carlo Felice from Genoa, Italy. During this performance, you will have the privilege of experiencing selected pieces by the renowned librettist, Lorenzo Da Ponte. Notably, Da Ponte was not only a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick’s Cathedral but also a close confidant of Mozart, collaborating on masterpieces such as Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni, and The Marriage of Figaro.

     Following the performance, we will host a plaque unveiling and dedication ceremony in honor of Lorenzo Da Ponte in the Basilica’s front courtyard. Tickets for this remarkable event are available at a cost of $20 for general admission and $30 for VIP seating, which secures you a spot in the front four rows of the Basilica.
