Experience the Grandmother of all neighborhoods!

The Grandmother of all Neighborhoods
If you love New York history or just want to take a deep dive into one of Manhattan’s most storied neighborhoods, you shouldn’t miss this exclusive tour of Little Italy! Take a walk down the lanes where so many American Dreams were made. This 90 minutes walk will ecompass the entire northern portion of Historic Little Italy from Canal to Houston Streets. See the very first Catholic Church in the country built specifically for the Italian American community, see the haunts of the very first Italian American Police Sargeant Joseph Petrosino and where famed film producer/director Martin Scorsese grew up.

Italian American Culture at its Best
No trip to New York City is complete without walking Mulberry Street in Little Italy. This is where the World Famous San Gennaro Feast takes place over the course of 10 day noon till night every September. When we are not feasting this is still one of the most visited destinations for travelers from all over the world. Some of the best restaurants in New York City are here, the oldest Dairy in the United States, Baby John the Cannoli King, the Italian American Museum and the old Mulberry Play Street where all the neighborhood stickball teams would compete. Come and learn what it means to grow up Italian in New York City on this unique tour.

An Exclusive Partnership & Experience
Come and “Take a walk with Tommy’s New York” on this exclusive and unique tour of the most talked about neighborhood in the Big Apple. Thanks to Two Bridges Neighborhood Council this Italian American Community was declared a National Register Historic District in 2010. 2018 Tommy’s New York would be selected to develop and operate Walking Tours of this neighborhood with exclusive access to all the legacy members of the community. Today we bring you an experience that cannot be reproduced by our rivals with an authentic narrative and route that was developed in collaboration with the Historic Districts Council.
